Hop On-Hop Off Suikerbekkie Trip
Our Hop On-Hop-Off cruise is perfect for those who wish to explore local flavors and relax in charming riverside settings. Guests can enjoy a scenic journey to Suikerbekkie Coffee Lounge, where freshly brewed coffee and delicious home-style meals await. This flexible experience allows you to set your own schedule, making it an ideal outing for families, friends, or solo travellers seeking a peaceful retreat along the Berg River.
Board Cracklin Rosie at our Bokkomlaan jetty for a trip upriver to Kuifkop farm. Enjoy brunch or a light lunch with river views at their Coffee Lounge before we pick you up later at your prearranged time.
Birding the Salt Pans
This birding and photography experience requires special permission and the company of the Owner. The pans display vibrant greens, reds, and oranges with stunning textures as the water evaporates, and salt crystallizes. Rare waders like the Phalarope can be spotted here, along with close-up views of the chestnut-banded plover and other waders, offering prime opportunities for birders and photographers
Special Birding and Photography Cruises
Early morning or late afternoon at low tide are the best times for birding and photography as the sand banks are open and usually teem with birds. We have birding lists on board and expert registered guides will accompany you on the birding trips. They can be pre-booked for the trip at an extra fee. Two-hour and 3-hour trips are available on request.
Private Charters
For a more personalized experience, book a private charter and enjoy the beauty of the Berg River at your own pace. Ideal for special occasions or a peaceful day out with friends.

- Special requests will be accommodated if they fit into the day’s schedule.

- 10 am to 12 noon
- 4 pm to 6 pm (Sunset Cruise)
